The lowest Starlink price per month, and every level since Oct 21
Home internet from Starlink no longer has one monthly price; each address gets its own. These are the lowest levels and every other one Starlink’s US order data has carried since Oct 21, 2026, latest first, plus what lands on top of the bill.
Lowest monthly level on Starlink’s no-address US price list for Nov 4, 2026: Residential 100 Mbps at $49.50, where offered. Then 200 Mbps $76.50 and Max $143; Roam $55, $80 or $175 in every state.
Those home levels come from the list with no address entered. On Oct 29, 2026 the same list carried several levels per plan ($44 or $49.50 for 100 Mbps; $104, $117, $143 or $156 for Max), and Notebookcheck reported $44 to $156 a month across addresses. Starlink doesn’t publish which level an address gets; yours appears once you type it on starlink.com.
Every national-list read, latest first
Behind its order page, starlink.com loads one price list for the whole country. With no address typed, that list is the only public price data Starlink offers, and we read it on each date below. Only some areas get the 100 and 200 Mbps plans; Max is sold everywhere.
| Read | 100 Mbps | 200 Mbps | Max | What we saw |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nov 4, 2026 | $49.50 | $76.50 | $143 | Latest read. Three entries, all rentals. |
| Nov 3, 2026 | $49.50 | $76.50 | $143 | Same as Nov 4, 2026. |
| Oct 30, 2026 | $49.50 | $76.50 | $143 | First read after the change settled. |
| Oct 29, 2026 | $44 or $49.50 | $68 or $76.50 | $104, $117, $143 or $156 | Several levels per plan on one list: the day address-based pricing showed up. |
| Two reads: Oct 21, then Oct 25 | $55 | $85 | $130 | One price per plan. |
Read the table bottom to top and you see the change happen. Until Oct 25 there was one price per plan. On Oct 29 the list showed two levels for 100 Mbps and 200 Mbps and four for Max. From Oct 30 it settled back to one level each. Since Oct 21 the lowest home level on the list was $44 (100 Mbps, Oct 29, 2026) and the highest $156 (Max, Oct 29, 2026). The full dated history explains what changed.
Roam: one national price
Roam plans cost the same at every address. These came from Starlink’s Roam order data on Nov 4, 2026.
| Plan | Per month | High-speed data | What Starlink says it’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roam 100GB | $55 | 100 GB, then about 500 Kbps | approximately 1 week of typical use |
| Roam 300GB | $80 | 300 GB, then low speed | regular travelers with multiple trips a month |
| Roam Unlimited | $175 | Unlimited high-speed | unlimited high-speed data, including international travel |
What the press and local checks found
Starlink doesn’t publish which address gets which level. Reporters and dealers checked real addresses:
- Notebookcheck reported a range of $44 to $156 a month for Residential after the change (Nov 2, 2026).
- 5Gstore, on Oct 29, 2026: Marysville, Kansas: $44 / $68 / $104 for Residential 100 / 200 / Max.
- 5Gstore, same day: Kansas City, Missouri: $49.50 / $76.50 / $117; Rolla, Missouri: Max at $156.
- RV Mobile Internet reported Starlink testing address-based Residential prices up to about 20% above or below the base price, with reviews about every three months (Oct 30, 2026).
So an address in Marysville, Kansas and one in Kansas City, about two hours apart by car, saw different prices for the same plan on the same day. That is why we never print one Residential level as “the price”.
Is there a $49 Starlink plan?
Not at exactly $49. The closest level is Residential 100 Mbps at $49.50 a month. Starlink’s national list carried that level on Nov 4, Nov 3 and Oct 30, 2026, and it was one of two levels on Oct 29, 2026 (the other was $44). On Oct 21–25 the list showed $55.
Three things to know before you count on it:
- It is a list level, not a promotion. Starlink’s US lists carried no promotional prices on Nov 4, 2026.
- Only some areas get Residential 100 Mbps. Without it, the next plan up is 200 Mbps ($76.50 on Nov 4, 2026).
- Your address may show a different level, higher or lower. Starlink’s own advice for finding your price is to type your address on starlink.com and press “Order Now”.
We can’t promise any address a price near $49, and nobody else can either. What we can do is show every level with its date. The cheapest plan page ranks all six plans.
What comes on top of the monthly price
The monthly service price is the biggest line, not the only one. Here is what else can show up:
- The kit, once. Rent it at a $0, $99 or $199 activation (your address and plan decide), buy a Standard or V5 kit for $349, or buy the Mini for $149. The cheapest kit route.
- A rental fee, if any. Any monthly rental fee appears at checkout and is billed each month alongside the plan. A $10-a-month fee was reported in June 2026 (RV Mobile Internet) and reported removed in July 2026 (SatelliteInternet.com).
- A demand surcharge, once. Busy cells can add a one-time demand surcharge when you buy or activate, set by address and plan. Starlink’s invoice glossary puts the ceiling on that surcharge near $1,500 per home service line. RV Mobile Internet reported demand surcharges cut in some areas on Oct 30, 2026: Seattle $500, Enumclaw (WA) $250, Alaska $500, down from up to $1,000–$1,500 earlier in 2026.
- Taxes. Sales tax and local fees vary by state and town. Starlink doesn’t publish a figure for them, so we can’t add them here.
- When billing starts. Billing begins at whichever comes first: activation, the seventh day after delivery, or the thirtieth day after shipping.
Per year: 12 × each level
Our math: 12 times each monthly level, service only. Kit, taxes, any rental fee and any surcharge are not included. Run a full year-one total, kit and all, in the calculator.
| Plan | Per month (Nov 4, 2026) | × 12 | × 12, every level seen |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residential 100 Mbps | $49.50 | $594 | $528 – $660 |
| Roam 100GB | $55 | $660 | National price |
| Residential 200 Mbps | $76.50 | $918 | $816 – $1,020 |
| Roam 300GB | $80 | $960 | National price |
| Residential Max | $143 | $1,716 | $1,248 – $1,872 |
| Roam Unlimited | $175 | $2,100 | National price |
The limits on these numbers
- The national list is not your price. Starlink.com won’t show plans or prices until you type an address, and the figure for your address may differ.
- Prices move. Starlink says its prices, availability and surcharges can move with network capacity and local demand. The list changed three times between Oct 21 and Oct 30, 2026.
- Some areas only. The two cheapest home plans aren’t offered at every address.
- One-time costs. A demand surcharge and a rental fee, if any, show at checkout, on top of the monthly price.
Skip the order for now if…
- you haven’t seen your own price yet: type your address on starlink.com first, and order only if that number works for you
- a $49-a-month bill is your hard limit and your address shows more: no US promotional price was on Starlink’s lists on Nov 4, 2026, and we can’t promise one is coming
- you need one trip or one month of service: the referral terms are written for customers who stay
- you have, or once had, a Starlink account: the credit is for first-time customers only
- the kit will come from a store: a store purchase can’t earn the credit, then or later
Monthly price: what people ask
What is the cheapest monthly price Starlink lists?
Residential 100 Mbps at $49.50 a month on Starlink’s no-address US price list for Nov 4, 2026, in the areas that get it. Roam 100GB ($55, one price everywhere) comes next, then 200 Mbps ($76.50) and Max ($143). A home price is tied to the address, so type yours on starlink.com to see it.
Is there a $49 a month Starlink plan?
Not at exactly $49. Residential 100 Mbps was $49.50 a month on Starlink’s national list for Nov 4, 2026, and the Oct 29, 2026 list carried $44 or $49.50. Only some areas get the plan, and your address may show another level. It’s a dated list level, not a deal or a promise.
Why is my Starlink price different from my neighbor’s?
Starlink’s help center says location and account type can change which Residential plans, prices and promotions a household sees. Since late October 2026 each address gets its own Residential level, so two homes in one county can see different prices.
Is Starlink Roam the same price everywhere?
Yes, Roam prices are national: $55 for Roam 100GB, $80 for 300GB and $175 for Unlimited on Nov 4, 2026.
Will my existing Starlink bill go up?
Notebookcheck reported that existing customers were emailed and that the new prices take effect on bills from Nov 30, 2026. Check the email Starlink sends you; this site tracks prices for new orders. The dated price history.
Does the $100 referral credit lower my monthly price?
No. The monthly price stays whatever your address shows. If you qualify, Starlink posts $100 of account credit after two paid months, and later bills draw it down. Where it lands in year one.
