Starlink prices move every few weeks, so a page here can fall behind. This is how we catch that, fix it and keep the record.
How mistakes get caught
There’s no form to fill in here and no inbox to write to, so catching errors can’t depend on readers. Instead every Starlink figure carries the date we last read it, and a figure left unread for 30 days blocks the next build. That forces a fresh read of Starlink’s order data, help center and legal pages on a fixed rhythm, and whenever the press reports a price move.
Your price can differ without anything being wrong
starlink.com won’t show a home plan price until it has an address. Our Residential numbers are dated levels from Starlink’s national list, read with no address, so a different figure at your address is expected. The monthly price page lists every level we’ve seen.
What happens when a figure is wrong
- Confirm it against Starlink’s own order data, help center or legal text, or against the outlet a press figure came from.
- Fix it on every page that carries the fact, not only the one you saw.
- Date the fix in the changelog.
- Log it here if the error changed a total, a ranking or a rule a reader might have acted on.
Our checking rules in the first place are in the editorial policy.
Corrections log
| Date | Page | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| Nov 4, 2026 | Cheapest first year | The bill timeline said the second bill carries no referral credit. Starlink’s referral terms tie the credit to the second monthly invoice, while its help center gives about 60 days after activation as the earliest; the timeline and two FAQ answers now say so. Fixed before launch. |
Routine price updates aren’t corrections. They go in the changelog and the price history.
